Bid Icon Recognition
Building Icon: In order to determine if a company is registered within the BidOut platform, you can reference the building icon.
If the building has a yellow circle, that means that the company has not signed up/registered and they are pending registration.
If the building has a green circle, that means that the company has signed up/registered, and a user within said company can access our platform as well as any bids they are invited to.
As soon as a company signs up, their building icon's circle will change from yellow to green.
Additionally, if colorblind, hovering over the icon will convey the same information via on-screen text.
Eye Icon: Any invited suppliers to your bid will be able to view said bid. The eye icon affiliated with each supplier indicates exactly how many times the bid has been viewed on our platform by members of the supplier's team. Simply hover over the eye in order to see how many times a bid has been viewed by a supplier.
First Circle (Intent Circle) Icon: Anytime a supplier is invited to a bid, they will see a question at the top right of their bid which asks if they intend to bid on the event. Based on what their selection is determines how the first circle icon populates.
For instance, if they select that they do intend to bid, then the first circle icon will populate with a green check mark, indicating to you that they intend to submit pricing for the event.
If however, the supplier sways the other way and marks that they do not intend to bid, then at that point, the first circle icon as well as the second circle icon will populate with a red "X" to indicate that this supplier will not be bidding on this event.
Second Circle (Submission/Omission Circle) Icon: The second circle icon indicates with near finality the supplier's outcome on a bid.
If a supplier submits their bid pricing then they can not withdraw their submission, they can however edit/update their pricing up to the point of the bid closing.
When they submit, the second circle icon will populate with a green "$". This simply indicates that the supplier submitted pricing for all required line items of the bid.
Conversely, if a supplier indicates that they do not intend to bid on an event (see First Circle Icon example), then a red "X" will populate on both the first and second circle icons indicating they will not submit pricing.
It's worth noting that just because a supplier indicates they will not submit pricing, that does not omit them entirely from the bid process. They can still change their mind and submit pricing if they so chose after selecting "No" for their intent to bid.
